Slow start

Results-wise it's been a dissapoointing start to the new season for coach Huff and his team, however the new coach would have to be happy with the committment and determination showed in training and on the park. Hopefully with players returning over the coming weeks and some new blood injected into the side, the boys will turn the tide and get their first win up for 2007.

Writers wanted

I'm looking for someone keen to write up a weekly match report for the site. It doesn't have to be the same person every week, and it doesn't have to be anything too fancy. Just a speil about goals scored, any standout performances or any off-field antics would be great. Email them to me at work. A couple of you guys on the injured list would be able to give a great account through the haze of bevvies on the sidelines.

Just a reminder that the Sultana will be floating around asking spectators for their choices of outstanding players during the season. If past years are anything to go by, the more people that you're related to, friends with, or sleeping with that get down to support the Beroccas, the more chance you are of winning this lilttle pearl.
